 Truly Authentic Swedish Meatballs

Instructions

FIRST STEP:

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat

Mix the beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, eggs, onion and chopped parsley by hand, until it is combined well

SECOND STEP:

Form 1 inch meatballs and place in the skillet. Brown on all sides.

Remove the meatballs from the pan and set on a plate to the side.

THIRD STEP:

In same pan, with the fat still in there, add the flour and mix until wmooth and well combined

Add the consomme along with the worcestershire sauce and use a whisk to beat.

FOURTH STEP:

Slowly add the milk while continuously whisking. Add in the salt and pepper. Do not stop beating until the mix is completely combined

Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly

FIFTH STEP:

Add the meatballs back into the pan, cover and let cook for 15 minutes on medium heat

Cover the potatoes or macaroni with the meatballs and the gravy. Sprinkle with parsley and Enjoy!
