Ingredients :

1 ¾ c cake flour

1 c sugar

2 tbsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

1 ½ c water

2 egg whites

¼ c fresh milk

Directions :

1. Mix and sift dry ingredients. Set aside.

2. In another bowl, combine wet ingredients.

3. Using a hand mixer or whisk beat the mixture at low speed for 5 minutes.

4. Combine dry and wet ingredients, blend until smooth.

5. Strain the batter.

6. Lightly brush a puto molder with oil and fill the puto molder.

7. Place cheesecloth over the steamer and steam puto for 10-13 minutes.
